Galatians 6:1-2 says, “Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” Proverbs 27:17 compliments this as it says, “As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.”
The Bible reinforces the concept of community & fellowship among believers. It is such a vital piece of the Christian faith. The body of Christ is not a building. It is not a steeple. The body of Christ is composed of us: His co-heirs. Worship isn’t designed just to take place in a building once a week either. Our worship should be present & distinct among others no matter where we are, who we’re with, what we’re doing, etc. Don’t use the excuse that your faith is weak because God hasn’t placed other Christ followers in your life. You don’t get to sit around on your couch waiting for Him to drop a family of believers in your lap. Prove to God your faith is real & authentic by praying & searching for accountability partners. If it’s an honest request & endeavor, I believe there’s quite a good chance some new company will begin enter into your life.
