Good afternoon Family.
I recognize these days I now possess brothers & sisters on the east coast, west coast & every place in between.
I’d like to first share that I hope each one of you who follow my blogging career while in this season in Seattle serving with the Union Gospel Mission feel as though I am doing an adequate job supplying you with imagery and dialogue that constructs a firm picture of my mission, interning and experiences out here. If you don’t, that’s fine. But I would love for you to let me know by commenting on this particular blog. Constructive criticism is always appreciated.
Secondly, I recently mailed out about 50 or so ‘thank you’ post cards to every individual who supported me financially to place me here on the west coast in new territory for the next nine months. The concept of reaching $5,000 in 5 months & that I actually reached that goal before arriving here is still unfathomable for me. God is good especially when He demonstrates His faithfulness via His servants. Thank you for playing your role as the body of Christ by believing in God’s calling on my life. I tried my best to supply my gratefulness for your support in a short message on those cards [not enough space].
Last but not least: we’ve been encouraged by the Serve Seattle staff here to remind our audiences & support systems that the donating does not have to stop after reaching our $5k mark. Ultimately it costs $10k, not $5k, to live here with food, rent and transportation (not to mention all the activities we do). I’m tremendously blessed to have received the giving that I have up to this point; however, I still don’t have the time in my schedule of fulfilling program requirements & responsibilities, interning 15-20 hours a week & focusing on my spiritual growth to maintain a part-time job [which trust me, kills me that I’m not working- something I’ve been doing constantly for the last 8 years]. Your continual gifts to support me in my short-term stay here while unemployed would certainly keep me afloat in my expenses that don’t go away just because I am doing missions work.
I felt compelled to share that with you all. I strongly feel as though I have an army of supporters and prayer warriors walking this journey with me and I am SO ABUNDANTLY overwhelmed by that. I love you all.
Here is my address that you may send checks to if you feel so compelled to do so:
1808 18th Ave.

May God bless you in all that you do in His name
