I am ecstatic to share with you my second featured blog from Serve Seattle!
This was an exceptionally special occasion [to blog] for me and I’ll tell you why.
Eugene Cho, Founder of One Days Wages, Pastor of Quest Church in Seattle, and author of Overrated came and spoke to my thirty other comrades and I here at our urban missions institute in Washington state.
It was a monumental listening opportunity to absorb wisdom about self-care and time management from a guy who knows the struggle.
Cho puts aside 2 six hour chunks of his week for rest. He also takes a sabbatical (3 months) every three years.
He states that “maturity is self-awareness” and he knows himself well enough to know he can’t fulfill his multitude of roles without self-care.
No need for me to spoil more for you. Have a look!
